If you’re a cheese lover, you’ll love the results of a new study that suggests eating cheese might be good for us! In specific, eating around 40 grams (1.41 ounces or the size of a matchbook) of cheese every day could help to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Researchers in China found the same amount could lower the risk of a stroke by 10 per cent.
A British study carried out earlier in the year also found that almost one million people saw no increased risk with regular cheese consumption.
This doesn’t mean that eating an extra large cheese pizza everyday will reap the same rewards, everything in moderation, including cheese.
