Melissa McCarthy is apart of a new movie called Happy Time Murders where she is a detective with a puppet partner as they try to solve the murders of various puppets throughout their city. The movie is set to hit theatres in August as an R-Rated film, but one group is not happy with this film.
The creators of Sesame Street have sued the promoters of this film, but for good reason. They don’t want their name to be apart of a film with that kind of rating as it features explicit language and profane scenes. As Sesame is a company that targets their movies and shows towards a younger audience, they feel a film like this could hurt the reputation of the company, and are asking the creators to take their name away from the film.
