Marion Warnica from the Country 95 news team spoke to families in the stores this weekend about heading back to school.

Seems what most kids are looking forward to this week is more than just the three R's!

3 year old Hero saves dad!

Here's a great feel good story

A three-year-old girl is being called a hero after taking action Friday that possibly saved her father's life. After her father collapsed, Alesaundra Tafoya walked by herself two blocks from her Manteca, California home to the local fire station, where she told the firefighters that her dad had frozen and wouldn't wake up. Alesaundra then walked the firefighters to her home where they found Frank Tafoya in need of medical care. The elder Tafoya had accidentally taken a mixture of medication and collapsed.

Snuggie vs Snazzy Napper

Move over Snuggie, there's an even more ridiculous product being marketed now. It's called the Snazzy Napper and it comes right at the perfect time because we were all getting tired of making Snuggie jokes. The Snazzy Napper is a blanket that covers your entire head and face, except for an "oval nose opening" that "provides for easy breathing." It's perfect for anyone looking to block out even the slightest trace of light in order to nap in complete darkness.

check out the informercial below!

And just in case you forgot about the Snuggie, refresh your memory & check out the infomercial for that too, lol

This morning's nearly impossible question was straight from O magazine..."Women do this on average 30-64 times a year, what is it?" the answer = Crying.

On that note - here's a video that's sure to make you tear up. A montage of soldiers returning home to surprise loved ones...check it out below...

Do you have your own story of a soldier returning? We'd love to hear it, either leave a comment below, email coffeecrew@country95.fm or call us anytime at 403 327 0955

check out the FREE STEVEN SLATER facebook group

Steven Slater is quickly becoming America's newest folk hero after the former Jet Blue flight attendant had a legendary on-the-tarmac tantrum at JFK airport yesterday and walked out on the job. The 38-year-old Queens resident snapped after an argument with a rule-breaking passenger who had hit him in the head with her luggage.

Slater got on the intercom and announced "to the passenger who called me a (expletive): (expletive) you. I've been in this business 28 years and I've had it." He then grabbed a beer and his luggage, deployed the emergency slide, and left.

Although Slater has been charged with reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, for many, he has become a folk hero by quitting his job in a spectacular fashion that most of us have only dreamed about.

So we want to know, do you have any spectacular job resignation stories of your own?

LOOK AT THE JERSEY!!!

The Heritage Classic sweater — with deep red (almost maroon) and yellow stripes to go with a beige flaming C — is a tribute to the pioneer Calgary Tigers.

“They were the first professional hockey team in Calgary,” King said. “The Tigers challenged Montreal Canadiens in 1924 to the Stanley Cup — when you could do that. They lost, regrettably.

“They kind of earmarked professional hockey in Calgary and this is a wonderful opportunity for us to salute and respect that history.”
